Spring, don’t you know, is the simplest Winter on Earth. Without your presence, Winter’s cold reaches summer. When it is snowing, I like to pretend that the snow I am walking on clouds. There is nothing that excites me more than planning for summer during the winter months. Whenever spring comes, I revel in the feeling of soft Earth, and my spirits lift. No matter how dried up fruit trees become during Winter, they know they will blossom again during summer. The very structure of the Earth becomes naked in front of me. The bones of Nature appear during the Winter and fall that is why I love these seasons. Nursing in a lousy mood is perfect for a cold, grey winter. Nature’s way of saying, Up, up and away is through Winter. See your dreams on the blazing fire of a winter’s night and know that it will come true. Let us take the light within this Winter.
Not everyone may know it, but Winter is also a time for love. It is amazing to stand on a hill laden with snow while looking out over everyone with the cold evening glow as your light.Īs I stood amidst the snow, I watched the evening star as it also watched me. Allow yourself to think about promises because you have the luxury to do so. Indulge yourself on promises this Winter, for there is not much to do. I want to have wings and be improbably beautiful like the Snow Queen. I want to be accessible and lighthearted, like a falling snowflake. What lessons I have experienced during that Winter! It brings back memories of my heart pumping hard as my boots hit the mushy ground.
Winter brings to mind the lessons of grief that I had. Whenever you look at the pine tree during Winter, you cannot stop thinking that spring would be due to come again any time. I would not miss Winter for the world, for it could be my chance to hibernate like a bear and fall asleep the entire season. Even if you are in your bikini without any snowshoes, the winter schedule still goes on, as Nature would want to. But when summer arrives, the terms thaw, so the words uttered during Winter become heard in summer. On a faraway land, the weather is intensely cold that the moment the words hit the air, they freeze. Winter makes us remember our perseverance, while summer makes us remember our enthusiasm.
